I had a great year at the Fringe! Thank you so much to everyone that stopped by to get a new school bag, handbag, wallet or a pair of lego cufflinks! I appreciate so much all the love that comes my way by good comments on my designs, and props for putting myself through school. I couldn't do it without you!
Being self employed is hard, and everything rests on my shoulders... but to anyone that is brave enough to take the plunge I commend you! I was actually super flattered this month when 2 separate designer friends said that I inspired them to take the plunge and quit their jobs. It's worked out amazing for both of them, and I am so proud of all my friends for living the dream!
After the fringe pack-up I pulled an all-nighter and met a really good friend in Calgary to visit the John Fluevog shoe store! I had a gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket from when I won the Top 15 Fluevog contest, and I had been meaning to check out the store since it opened in July. The staff is nice, the store is right by the "Calgary Space Needle" as I call it, and I got beautiful new, nearly free Fluevog shoes.
Now I'm at home, sick, on the couch watching movies and enjoying my 2 weeks before school starts...
Also, Coming soon! There will be a major overhaul with my products. I am re-designing EVERYTHING and making it fresh... I can't wait to share sneak peeks with you!
