Eggs on the Front Page!

Hey look, my Egg Passport Sleeve made it onto the front page of etsy! Hooray for me...... The passport sleeves are actually really popular, it seems like most of my customers are traveling somewhere, sometime. I will have a surprise coming up if you want to upgrade your passport sleeve into something a bit more travel friendly. I know, How could it really get any better? But you know we all improve with age. And Majesty's coming up on it's 5th official birthday this summer! I will most likely celebrate in June with another fanatastic sale in the ye old etsy shoppe.... and at the markets this summer. For now it's snowing and blizzardy and quite chilly outside. Definitly not peep toe or sandal weather yet. (But I'm hoping for another groundhog day soon.) (and also...... for new peep toes and sandals.) (I am so very easy to read, it's sad!) Have a super week everyone..... will post pictures of fantastic new stuff when I get around to making it. oooxxx.

Triumph at last!

I FINALLY cracked the code!

After years and years of trying to figure out exactly what flavor Dr. Pepper actually is... I finally tasted it out and managed to make some very passable Homemade Dr. Pepper using very simple household ingredients! All from the baking aisle of your local grocery store. I made a batch of "diet" and am now relaxing from my hectic weekend and watching movies.... I'm not telling exactly what it is, but just so you know it's not cherry.

I planned a party for the "Sweetheart's" at my church in honor of V-day this year.... tropical themed in fact. I hired a Hula Dancer who was AMAZING.... I could sit and watch the hula all day. We built a bridge, played jungle drum music, had awesome food.... and I even got to play some Harry Belefonte (which is awesome). I love planning an event where NO ONE complains. That is my goal every year, and I am so relieved everyone had fun. I also got to go out that night for a heart shaped pizza with a friend.... and I  skipped watching any of my top 5 favorite romantic movies in favor of a good nights sleep curled up with my Cat.

In fact, it was the best weekend I have had in a long time.

I have some fun new designs planned, so keep on the lookout! Right now I'm making as much stock as I possible can for all my May shows... Update coming soon on locations.... I promise. All the good stuff is in my Etsy shop anyhow..

My Cat is Adorable....

Meet the official Majesty Mascot.

He is orange and amazing. He likes long walks on the beach, and Pina Coladas. His favorite movie is Finding Nemo.

He also loves mustaches apparently, because as soon as I laid out my drop-cloths for photos yesterday he ran up and started investigating. The other  night I had one of those moments where I was like, "I want to make RAINBOW mustaches!!! I NEED to make them RIGHT NOW.... wait, it's 2am. Ok, well this shouldn't take too long." I stayed up till 4am making them and I am pretty pleased with the results.  I know it's silly, and mustaches are normally blond or brown (or gray), but I think they are awesome. Silly, but awesome nevertheless. You so rarely get to use the word "nevertheless" in a sentance hey? I mean, eh? They are for sale in the ETSY SHOPPE of course, along with a pack of pink and blue mustaches for those moments when you need to distinguish yourself up a bit.

The Royal Bison show this past weekend was fun, and it was great to see my vendor friends.... there will be another show in May, so check www.royalbison.ca for details. I did buy some sweet Valentines Day cards from A Jam Story and a hat from Sugar Soul Studios, and a cute octopus stamp from Android Buttons.

Otherwise....I have been super busy making new things, planning events, selling at shows, planning my selling year and my vacation year.... ahhh.... I do look forward to it all though. Stay tuned for an updated website with where I will be for the 2009 year...
