In other news...
My industrial machine went haywire this past week, right after I had gotten it fixed in the first place! It started sewing when no one was around! Scary, considering it's big and bad and can punch through steel, according to the salesman. Very frustrating for more than the obvious reason.... when I sew, it's like a tornado in the studio and there are scraps, thread andvinyl ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! I asked the tech to rate the "messyness" of my workshop on a scale to one to ten, and I got a ten. He then gallantly mentioned that "it's not the messiest shoppe I've seen, but it's really messy!".
The Edmonton Fringe was amazing this year! I brought my sewing machine and sewed up new things to replace the sold ones and I just couldn't keep up! I was astounded at the amount of "Mustaches on a Stick" that sold out, and as well my glitter vinyl wallets were being sold right off the sewing machine. Sorry to everyone that had their eyes on a Hedgehog wallet, I will have more soon! It was also nice to catch up with Salgado Fenwick, Solidaritees and Hipbands. I definitly had an adventure every day at the Fringe... one day I had a water bottle burst in my backpack so by the time I got there it looked as if I had wet my pants. Classic.

I dropped off a new slew of pouches and wallets and bags over at SWISH in Manulife place today, so glad to see that they are selling so well! If you haven't been out to see the shop, you MUST because Angela (the owner) has a knack for finding amazing vintage finds! I hardly walk out of there without buying something, which is surprising because it's not a shoe store. She has some very cute robot vases.... hint hint.
