....is what my t-shirt should say this week!
Four days of non stop selling at the butterdome. Ok, there were some stops. We had two VERY long days on Thursday and Friday, 11 hours each, and two shorter days on Sat and Sun.... but I was also sewing till 2am all of the days. Still wasn't enough, I sold out of quite a few things. I wish I had more things prepared, like more wallets and such. Hindsight is 20-20 right? I ended up getting the flu as well, and somehow managed not to sew through my fingers or fall asleep with my eyes open. (I did that once you know). My favorite part of the weekend was when "Davey Crockett" showed up! Twice in one year, how did I get so lucky?
The most remarkable thing is that I did all this with a broken back? In my "Rollover 2008" accident last month I guess I broke a vertebrate in my back, and it took this long for my doctor to get back to me about the X-rays. I just found out today. No wonder it's so painful all the time. I thought I was just being a baby.
Regardless.... the next place you can find me is at the Savoy this Thursday, 5-10pm. I've never been there myself, so don't get any ideas about spiking my drink ok? Strictly a non-drinker here. I've got that reputation to watch out for...
