Happy Christmas!

I love Christmas morning! (I did not get an electric ice-cream maker) (but, my birthday is coming up.... hint hint...)  In spite of that, this has been the week of presents. Now maybe not exactly presents, because I paid for them, but I received three pendants in the mail this week. The first two were from The Black Apple, cute little portrait pendants that I snapped up as quick as everyone else who watched Etsy like a hawk that day! The other one was an Impulse-Must-Have... I spotted it and knew it was destined to be added to my collection of Unique jewelry. Luxe Deluxe is one of my favorite sellers on Etsy, and she has super-fun-vintage-themed-unique pieces that I have not seen the likes of before! The prices are great, much lower than similar sellers, which guarantee's that I will be back. I ordered one octopus necklace to go with my pirate themed life, and it made my day. I got so many compliments at work the next day, plus, two of my co-workers asked for links to her shop, and to Etsy for that matter. My cute little niece said "Wow Auntie Wolie, pretty necklace." Walk through a graveyard....

While I was in St.Johns NFLD this past week I decided to brave the rain and walk through an Anglican graveyard. It was really neat, because it was very hilly, and some of the graves were all randomly placed. I tried to get some neat shots, without actually stepping on someone's grave. Shudder...

Vinyl Goodness...

Well.. this weekend I escaped the holiday rush and did my Christmas shopping on friday night, when everyone cool has plans, and everyone with a real job is too tired to shop. Of course, that leaves me... Crazy Cat Lady in the making. Sometimes I think that the two people that love me the most are my cat, and my sewing machine. They both are finicky sometimes, but they both can't speak english and thus, never say anything rude or make me feel bad. But this weekend, all the love went to my Pfaff... I stayed up late sewing up a bunch of I-pod cases. I used the "same old designs" as on the rest of my products, but I love them all so there. I actually made a whole bunch last winter, and since I moved I can't seem to find the box that contains them. (As well as my vast thread assortment and my perfect scissors, the ones that I polished every night and tucked in to bed with me). (Is that too weird to say? It's not true of course.... ) But anyhow... I will be posting some of them in the shop, so check them out. 

Also... mamma monkey at Etsy has some really cute baby onesies that say Ipoo on them. I think she might still have ones that say Ipee too. Check them out!

Dear Santa,

Although I have been asking for an electric ice-cream maker for one whole year now, I am sure to not get one. As to the fact that,

a.) I am messy sometimes.

b.) I have a tendancy to eat too much ice-cream .

c.) I also buy useless things on a whimsy.

So, here are my top 5 holiday picks from Williams and Sonoma that I wish I had but I will probably never actually have.

#1.) Dress up Cookie Cutters. These look SO fun, and I almost bought them when I was at the Calgary store.

#2.) Corn bread specialty pan. This pan actually makes corn bread shaped like a cob of corn. It's amazing... who thinks of such a thing?

#3.) Sandcastle Bundt cake pan. Who wants to make a sandcastle? I do! 

#4.)Mini Cheesecake pan. I already have two of these, one is mini hearts, and one is mini squares. I don't know why I didn't buy the round one at the time, you would think that I would understand that you can cut squares in a cheesecake and save my money.

#5.) Circus themed waffle iron. Anyone who knows me well, or not so well, knows that I want to run away and join the circus. I will perfect my Plate-spinning routine, marry an elephant man and live happily ever after.

So that's that.  Maybe next year I can make Cucumber-Jalapeno Ice cream. Or, Peanut Butter-Carrot. Or, Captain Crunch ice cream. We will just never know exactly how famous I could have been. Making circus waffles in my waffle stand.
