You guys, summer's over! It's gone! But there are still plenty of things to be excited about. I think that everyone should be excited about something, or else you turn into a boring, bitter vegetable and your friends won't like you anymore.
This summer went by soooo fast I can hardly believe it. I've spent my summer making bags, selling bags, having fun and also..... a little clock watching. But don't worry.... you can still get Majesty bags and accessories (Including mustaches galore) at the markets! Check out www.majestyinc.ca for info about my market weekends, either at the St. Albert Farmers Market or at the Downtown Edmonton Market. Also...... (see below!) (wooo ha hah aha ha....)
At the Christmas Butterdome Craft Sale! I actually had a dream about this last night. I guess I've been fretting about changing my booth a bit, and I dreamed that it was the "Butterdome Weekend" Ooohh, ahh... hushed tones. In my dream the interior of my booth looked like the interior of a motorhome, and was bigger than my allotted 10x10 space. I wasn't complaining about this or the decor, especially because it came with it's own bathroom! How convenient for this one girl band. The only problem was that all the other vendors started putting they're products in my booth! There were mounted fish on plaques, jewelery, muffins, and pinecones? Thankfully I woke up from that nightmare. And realized I've never seen fish on plaques at this show. There is cool stuff there, honest.
Also this summer...
I ended up getting a tan... a farmers market tan, but still a tan nevertheless.
I was very blessed to be on Breakfast Television THREE times this summer thanks to the amazing staff at the City Market and at BT.
I can fit back into my "Skinny Jeans" and my "favorite dress" that I lament about every time it's time to make New years Resolutions.
I am SUPER EXCITED because I will be going back to school this fall as a full time college student! I have been looking forward to this all summer long, and since it's been on my mind for a few years this seems like perfect timing. I know that one of my resolutions was not to learn anything, but what can I say? That must have been a low point.
My friend Christine from Sugar Soul Studios had a wonderful article about her in the Edmonton Journal! Read it HERE!
Take care guys... OOOXXX
